We are quite aware that being unemployed or losing your job can be hard to deal with and in today's financial climate finding a job can be very tough. We want to help you!
We want to help you to realise the skills and the potential that you have and help you to be able to communicate that effectively to employers. We particularly offer support to long term unemployment and those who have a physical and mental health disability which makes finding work difficult.

Assistance with CVs, filling out application forms, interview preparation, work experience/volunteering opportunities or preparing to return to education

Join in with others who are looking for jobs. We offer support, a listening ear and just having a coffee and a chat
Who can come to Job Club?
Anyone is very welcome to come along to our Job Club and find out a bit more about what we do and how we can help you. Whether you have been unemployed for many years, just lost your job, thinking about returning to work after having a family or have just left school, college or university and can't find work. Everyone is welcome.
When and where is Job Club?
Lifeline Community Action Job Club runs every Tuesday from 10 am to 12.15 pm, at the PCP Carers Way, Newton Aycliffe DL5 4SE
Can I help with Job Club?
We are always looking for employers or organisations who would be willing to provide work experience or volunteering opportunities.
