Baby Basics is project that is successfully run by Lifeline Community Action
Baby Basics provides FREE clothing, toiletries and essential equipment to families in need. Items are requested via midwives, health visitors and other agency workers and taken out to the families by the person who has made the referral.
Our role is to process the donations as they come in and to pack up lovely parcels of clothes, Moses basket starter packs and other items ready to be taken out as gifts to families in real need.
With support like yours we are able to help even more people that didn’t know where to turn in their hour of need.
Here are some quotes from women who have received things from Baby Basics…
‘It made me feel happy, it was like somebody cared.’
‘My baby must matter because the basket was so full of lovely things.’
‘I had nothing and nobody and you showed me you care about me and my baby.’
